Valvoline™ DPF Cleaner and Regenerator Special additive package to lower the burn-off temperature of soot in the diesel particulate filter. This enables burning off soot from the particulate filter during normal operation to allow in-situ regeneration of the diesel particulate filter. Applications Suitable for all diesel engines equipped with OEM or aftermarket diesel particulate filter (DPF). Apply as a preventive measure to keep the DPF operation optimal. Especially effective when driving conditions are unfavorable (e.g. short distance city driving, traffic jams, stop/start driving) The DPF Cleaner and Regenerator is recommended to be used after specialized cleaning repairs on the DPF have been performed. Operating instructions Add to diesel tank. Recommended use is approximately 1 metal bottle (300 ml) on 40-80 L diesel fuel. For the optimum result repeat every third tankful. Minimal tank content: 10 L of diesel. Important Note: Do not overdose. Do not use in vehicles that are equipped with an OEM additive system using AdBlue or similar, like some models of Renault, Peugeot, Citroen, VW, Audi, BMW, MB, Opel, Ford, Toyota or Mazda.
